WILMINGTON, N.C. – The UCF women's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of their 2021-22 schedule with a sixth place finish at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, North Carolina Sunday afternoon after finishing with a three-round total of 873(+9).

With scores of 293-285-295=873(+9), the Knights finished with a lower team score than No. 9 Texas, No. 18 Florida State, No. 28 Purdue and more. No. 6 South Carolina won the event with a 849(-15) score.

"I am really proud of the team with this finish to the fall season," said head coach Emily Marron. "Playing with only four players today was a challenge and they all handled that adversity really well. This is one of the most talented teams we have ever had and we are excited to see what we can do moving into our spring season."

Following a strong second round where the Knights made up solid ground to climb into fourth place, the Knights held steady in the final day of the Landfall Tradition. Second-year Knight Camille Banzet led all UCF golfers with a 1-under 215 total over three rounds of play to finish tied for 12th place, her second-highest finish of the young season.

Two Knights finished tied for 27th place overall as sophomore Jess Baker and Zoe Allaux had the same 74-73-72 line throughout the tournament to finish at 3-over 219. Meanwhile, after leading all Knights with a 1-under 71 round one, senior Alyssa Lamoureux posted a 78(+6) score in the final round to finish tied for 34th place.

After playing in the first two rounds, junior Tunrada Piddon withdrew from play for the final round due to injury.
