VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – History was made and records were broken Tuesday afternoon in Virginia Beach as the UCF women's golf team secured a first place overall finish at the Evie Odom Invitational and UCF junior Tunrada Piddon won the individual title, breaking the UCF record for the lowest 54-hole total along the way.
As a team, the Knights shot 274(-6) in the final round, beating out the next best team (tournament host Old Dominion) by nine strokes to secure the victory. UCF's final total of 841(+1) marks both the lowest 54-hole total in program history as well as the lowest in Evie Odom Invitational history.
Picking up the individual victory, Piddon shined all week. The Thailand native shot 3-under par or better in all three rounds of play and capped off the incredible performance with a 67(-3) final round, including a hole-in-one, to secure first place. Her three-round score of 200(-10) is the lowest in program history and Evie Odom Invitational history (both were previously 203, -7 by Elizabeth Moon). UCF sophomore Jess Baker also dominated in the final round, carding a 3-under 67 to finish in the top-20. Her 213(+3) score is the lowest of her career and her 67(-3) final round is the lowest 18-hole score of her career as well.
Second-year Knight Camille Banzet and freshman Zoe Allaux also posted top 20 finishes. The French duo shot a combined 427(+7). Rounding things out, senior Alyssa Lamoureux ended the tournament with a 70(E) to finish with a three-day total of 222(+12).
Playing individually, Ana Laura Collado shot 229(+19).
Notable highlights from UCF's historic performance in the Evie Odom Invitational can be found below:

- Piddon's hole-in-one on hole No. 7 was just the second hole-in-one in the three-year history of the in Evie Odom Invitational.
- 841(+1) is the lowest team 54-hole total in program history as well as the lowest in Evie Odom Invitational history
- 274(-6) is the lowest 18-hole score in Evie Odom Invitational history and the third lowest 18-hole score in program history
- With the win, Piddon has a 70.00 scoring average to this point in 2021-22, which is on pace to break the UCF single-season record (Currently held by Piddon with a 71.9 in 2019-20).
