VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – It was a successful first day for the UCF women's golf team in the Evie Odem invitational on Sunday as the Knights finished round one in third place with a score of 284(+4). UCF's Tunrada Piddon leads all golfers at the end of day one with a 67(-3) score.
Piddon was even at the turn before knocking down three birdies on the back nine to take the lead. She was just one of nine golfers to finish day one under par.

Also shooting under par in the opening round was UCF sophomore Camille Banzet, who posted a 69(-1) total to sit tied for sixth place.
Meanwhile, Jess Baker shot 73(+1), Alyssa Lamoureux opened with a 75(+5) score, and Zoe Allaux posted a 76(+6) opening round.
Playing individually, Ana Laura Collado sits tied for 60th place after opening with a 79(+9).
