Knights in the Pros Update: October 26

ORLANDO – While the UCF football team remained perfect at home with a win over Memphis this weekend, nine former Knights saw action in week 7 of the NFL season. Additionally, former UCF football star Brandon Alexander continued his fifth season in the CFL, leading the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to their 10th win in the first 11 games of the year.

Alexander, who was an all-conference defensive back with the Knights and a member of the 2013 UCF team that won the 2014 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, has recorded 41 tackles, two interceptions, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery, as Winnipeg sits in first place in the CFL standings.

He had both of his picks this season in a 23-8 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Sept. 5 and both forced and recovered a fumble against the Toronto Argonauts on Aug. 21.

The only other Knight currently on a roster in the CFL is D.J. Killings, who is on the practice squad for the Calgary Stampeders.
