ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF women's tennis team is set to compete in the Bedford Cup on Friday, October 1, through Sunday, October 3, at USF in Tampa, Fla.
Five Knights will see action this weekend, Nandini Sharma, Jaleesa Leslie, Marie Mattel, Nadja Bay Christians, and Anique Kattenberg.
Sharma, Leslie, and Mattel are coming off a long, competitive weekend at the Wolfpack Invitational/Ranked Spotlight in Cary, North Carolina while Christians and Kattenberg will compete for the first time this fall.
Last season, Sharma dominated her way to the Bedford Cup final and came up with the championship victory by a count of 6-4, 6-4 as she won her four matches throughout the tournament in straight sets.
Schedule:
Friday, Oct. 1 - 2 doubles, 2 singles
Saturday, Oct. 2 - 1 doubles, 2 singles
Sunday, Oct. 3 - 1 doubles, 1 singles
All matches will begin at 9:00am daily.
