Dillon Named Offensive Player of the Week

ORLANDO Fla. – After opening conference play with a pair of sweeps over East Carolina and Cincinnati, Claudia Dillon was named the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.

"These kinds of individual honors are things that we want to be able to stack up week after week because the greater team is doing well as a whole," head coach Todd Dagenais said, "This shows the strength within our team and people doing jobs that nobody else sees, which allows members of the team to really shine in certain situations. This team is working really hard to open things up to allow the middles to score and Claudia is taking advantage of it."

This marks the fourth weekly honor UCF has received this season and is now Dillon's second as she earned defensive player of the week last week.
