ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF women's tennis team will open its 2021 fall slate this weekend at the Wolfpack Invitational/Ranked Spotlight tournament hosted by NC State at the Cary Tennis Center in Cary, N.C.

Action will begin on Thursday, September 23 and conclude on Sunday, September 26. No. 20 Valeriya Zeleva, No. 80 Evgeniya Levashova, Nandini Sharma, Jaleesa Leslie, and Marie Mattel will be competing all weekend long.
The Knights will see the likes of players from NC State, Tennessee, Ohio State, South Carolina, Miami, Virginia, Michigan, USC, Duke, Oklahoma, and North Carolina.

Thursday, Sept. 23 - two doubles matches
(Match times at 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m.)
Friday, Sept. 24 - two singles matches
(Match times at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.)
Saturday, Sept. 25 - two singles matches
(Match times at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.)
Sunday, Sept. 26 - one doubles match, one singles match
(Match times at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m.)
2021 Fall Schedule
UCF also released its 2021 fall tournament schedule. The Knights will travel from coast to coast for ten competitions and then will host the ITA Regionals as they continue to match up with top-level competition throughout the fall.
After the Wolfpack Invitational/Ranked Spotlight, the Knights will stay to the east coast for the month of October with multiple overlapping tournaments, starting with the Bedford Cup at USF in Tampa, Florida on Oct. 1-3, followed by the ITF W15 on Oct. 3-10 in Hilton Head, South Carolina and then ITA All-Americans in Charleston, North Carolina on Oct. 4-9.
UCF will then see more simultaneous competition at the ITF W25 in Florence, South Carolina on Oct. 10-16 and at the ITA Regionals on Oct. 14-16 at home in Orlando, Florida at the USTA.
The Knights will then use a few days off of competing before heading to the University of Georgia on Oct. 22-24 for the UGA Hidden Duals.
Heading to the west coast, the Knights will compete at ITA Fall Nationals in San Diego, California on Nov. 4-7 while also competing at the ITF W25 in Orlando on Nov. 1-7. Shortly after, UCF will hit the road for another ITF W25 on Nov. 7-13.
UCF will conclude the fall slate at the UNF Invite on Nov. 12-14.
