Knights Tripped Up at Ohio State

Columbus, Ohio – In the second road match of the young season, the UCF women's soccer team fell to Ohio State 4-2 Thursday evening. The Black and Gold move to 2-2-0 on the year, and 0-1-1 all-time against the Buckeyes.

Ohio State jumped out to an early lead thanks to a goal in the first five minutes of the match and extended the lead to 2-0 just before half. Just minutes into the second half, the Buckeyes extended the lead to 3-0.

Down three goals, the Knights mounted a comeback, as Katie Bradley netted her first goal of the campaign. Just three minutes later, Ellie Moreno scored her first of the year as well. That's as far as the comeback would go, as Ohio State extended the lead to two goals.
