Randolph Joins Knights as Director of Ops

ORLANDO, Fla. – UCF Baseball head coach Greg Lovelady announced the addition of Jeremy Randolph on Tuesday, as the new Director of Operations for the baseball program. Randolph joins the Knights with five years of collegiate baseball experience and a year of Minor League Baseball on his resume.

Jeremy Randolph began his collegiate baseball career as a pitcher at Wright State and transferred to Alabama as a grad student for the 2019 season. Randolph and Coach Lovelady crossed paths at Wright State from 2015-16, prior to Lovelady taking over the UCF program.

In his time with the Raiders, Randolph compiled a 16-5 record and five saves, maintaining a career 3.05 ERA and helping WSU to three Horizon League championships and three NCAA Regional appearances. In his year with the Tide, Randolph amassed 22 appearances and a team-leading nine saves to rank fifth in the SEC.

Randolph was selected in the 26th round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals. He was assigned to the State College Spikes, short-season single-A affiliate where he picked up 16 appearances in his debut season as a professional. Randolph fell victim to player cuts experienced with the cancellation of the 2020 Minor League Baseball season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
