ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Just a few days after competing for a conference title, a new baseball season is just getting started for 17 members of the UCF baseball team. The summer collegiate leagues will fire up in the coming days and weeks, and the Knights will be represented in leagues from New England, through the Great Lakes, the Midwest, and all to way to South Florida.
The Knights will have players on 12 teams across seven separate leagues this summer, as they will get more at-bats and innings pitched against top-tier collegiate opposition.
SUMMER LEAGUE NOTES
• UCF will have five sets of teammates playing together this summer.
• Michael Brooks will be the furthest away from campus this summer with 1626.61 (driving) miles between John Euliano Park and Wade Park, home of the Duluth Huskies, in Duluth, Minn.
• The list below shows where the Knights will start off this summer. Additions may come in the next few weeks.
