ORLANDO – UCF's Varsity Four has been named the American Athletic Conference Boat of the Week after a dominant performance against Miami on Lake Pickett over the weekend.
The UCF squad of Kennedy Keith, Lara Maule, Aryann Johnson, Annberlee Hothem and Tatum Cox lined up against the Hurricanes and another Black and Gold boat in the Fours race. They cruised to an open water win with a time of 7:33.71.
The V4 becomes UCF's second squad to earn The American Boat of the Week honors this season. The Varsity Eight was named Boat of the Week on March 30 following the UVA Invite.
UCF returns to action this weekend, heading to North Carolina for the Lake Wheeler Invite.
