Johns Island, S.C. – The No. 25 UCF women's golf team returns action this weekend, traveling to Johns Island, S.C. to compete at the Briar's Creek Invitational hosted by the College of Charleston on March 15-16.
The 18-team field features three teams in the most recent golfstat.com Top-25; No. 14 Maryland, No. 18 Miami, and No. 25 UCF.
The Briar's Creek Invitational will take place at The Golf Club at Briar's Creek, a par 72, 6110-yd course. Teams will tee off a 9 a.m. shotgun start on March 15 and play a continuous 36 holes, followed by 18-holes on March 16.
Knights Lineup
- Tunrada Piddon – Led the Knights at the UCF Challenge with a 219 (+3) total score for a top-20 finish, and placed T13 at the Moon Golf Invitational with a 215 (-1) score.
- Alyssa Lamoureux – Carded her best round of 2021 on the first day of the Moon Golf Invitational with a two-under round.
- Camille Banzet – Shot a two-under round in the second round of the Florida Gators Invitational, her best round as a Knight.
- Ana Laura Collado – The Knights lone senior posted a 68 (-2) on the first day of the Florida Gators Invitational to finish as her best round of the season
- Jess Baker – Shot her best round as a Knight on the final day of the Moon Golf Invitational, carding a 69 (-3) to finish T13.
