#21 UCF Seeking Fifth Straight Win Saturday

ORLANDO, Fla. – The No. 21 UCF men's tennis team hits the road after a successful three match home stand as they ride a four-match winning streak into Boca Raton to face FAU on Saturday afternoon.

The Knights are riding a four-match winning streak in which they've been dominant, capturing three 7-0 sweeps and most recently a 6-1 win over South Alabama, a team who received votes in the most recent poll. Five members of the Black and Gold have singles winning streaks of four matches or greater. Mikhail Sokolovskiy leads the way with seven straight victories, followed by Gabriel Decamps with five consecutive and Trey Hilderbrand and Alan Rubio with four in a row. Bogdan Pavel and Juan Pablo Grassi Mazzuchi have won four straight doubles matches, all at the No. 2 position.

UCF begins a three-match stint on the road against another team who received votes as they visit an FAU squad who is 5-5 this year and is coming off a 5-2 loss to Liberty on Friday. The Owls have two victories over South Alabama with additional wins against Stetson, Georgia Southern and FGCU. Maxime Lapraille is FAU's lone ranked singles player, checking in at No. 122.

The Knights hold an all-time series lead of 28-9 over the Owls and have won 17 of the last 20 meetings. UCF is a perfect 3-0 against FAU under Director of Tennis John Roddick.
