Melbourne, Fla. – The UCF women's golf team wrapped up play at the Moon Golf Invitational on Tuesday, finishing sixth place with a team score of 864 (E). The Knights sixth-place finish puts them ahead of five teams ranked in the most recent Golfweek Top-25 rankings, including No. 12 Arkansas, No. 13 Florida, and No. 15 Miami.
The final round of the Moon Golf Invitational saw freshman Jess Baker shoot her best round as a Knight, carding 69 (-3). Baker's 3-under round gives her a three-round score of 215(-1) to finish T13. Tunrada Piddon also finished the second tournament of the season T13 with a three-round score of 215 (-1).
Ana Laura Collado and Camille Banzet each posted 74 (+2) on the third day of the event, giving Collado a total score of 219 (+3) and Banzet a 224 (+7).
Rounding out the Knights lineup, Alyssa Lamoureux carded a three-round score of 220 (+4).
UCF women's golf will return to action this Feb. 21 - Feb. 23 as they travel to Gainesville, Fla. for the Lady Gator Invitational, hosted by Florida at the Mark Bostick Golf Club.
