UCF Continues Play at Moon Golf Invitational

Melbourne, Fla. – The Knights returned to the Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Fla. on Monday to continue the Moon Golf Invitational. With the first two rounds of the tournament completed, UCF finds itself in fourth place with a second-round team score of 289 (+1) and 571 (-5) total score.
 
Leading the Knights in the second round, Tunrada Piddon and Ana Laura Collado each posted 71 (-1). Piddon continues to lead the Knights in the tournament and sits T5 with a two-round score of 139 (-5).
 
Alyssa Lamoureux is in second among the UCF lineup sitting 1-under after two days and T20 on the leaderboard. The two freshmen, Jess Baker and Camille Banzet round out the Knights lineup with 74 (+2) and 77 (+5) scores in round two.
 
No. 3 South Carolina remains in the lead through the second round, with a team score of 555 (-21), followed by No. 10 LSU. No. 5 Virginia rounds out the top three, just four strokes ahead of the Knights in fourth.
 
UCF will return to the Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Fla. for the final round of the Moon Golf Invitational on Tuesday, Feb. 16. The Knights are currently scheduled to tee off at 8:45 a.m. in a shotgun start. Fans can follow along at Golfstat.com.
