Moon Invitational Up Next for Women’s Golf

Melbourne, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women's golf team is back in action this weekend for their second tournament of the spring slate. Starting Sunday, Feb. 14, the Moon Golf Invitational will run through Tuesday, Feb. 16. Hosted by the University of Louisville, the 54-hole tournament takes place at the Duran Golf Club (par 72, 6262 yards) in Melbourne, Fla.

The fourth annual Moon Golf Invitational features an 18-team field, including 10 teams ranked in the Golfweek Top 25 Team rankings and seven that are in the Top 15.

Knights Lineup: 

  1. Tunrada Piddon – Topped the Knights with a 219 (+3) score to finish T19 at the UCF Challenge.
  2. Ana Laura Collado – Shot back-to-back 1-under par rounds to start the UCF Challenge.
  3. Jess Baker – In her Black and Gold debut, Jess Baker finished the UCF Challenge with a three-round score of 222 (+7).
  4. Alyssa Lamoureux – Finished the UCF Challenge shooting 228 (+12) across the three days.
  5. Camille Banzet – Competed as an individual at the UCF Challenge where she finished T47 with a final score of 224 (+8).

After placing eighth overall in the first tournament of the spring, the Knights are ready to face strong competition this weekend.
