ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF men's tennis team has signed another top talent to their 2021-22 recruiting class as they have inked Australia's No. 2 player in Cooper White.
"We could not be happier to have Cooper White joining our team next year," said Director of Tennis John Roddick. "Cooper was ranked as the number two Australian in his year and we have no doubt that he is going to be a great player and have a tremendous positive impact on our program. We can't wait to get started with him!"
White has certainly made his mark in Australia as he was the 14 and under national champion in singles. He was victorious in five ITF junior doubles tournaments and reached four other finals. He had similar success in singles, also reaching four ITF juniors finals. On top of all that, he was a member of the Australian Junior Davis Cup team.
White is the second player of the next recruiting class for the Knights and is the second No. 2 nationally ranked recruit from his respective country. Earlier this summer, UCF singed JC Roddick, the No. 2 player in the United States in his class. The Black and Gold arguably have one of the strongest recruiting classes already for next year.
