ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF women's tennis team has added Marion Deloziere to the roster for the 2021 dual match season. She becomes the third addition to the Knights' squad during this academic year.
Deloziere hails from Wimille, France and comes to UCF as a key addition. She was a standout multi-sport athlete at her high school, Institution Rey, qualifying for the French Inter-High School Championship with the rest of her tennis team. Together, they earned a bronze medal. Deloziere made an impact on her high school's cross-country team as she earned a victory at the Departmental Inter-High School Cross Country Championship and finished second at the regional championship.
"I chose UCF because of the high level of the coaching staff, the extraordinary sports facilities and the professional environment of the university," said Deloziere. "The results the coaches have obtained since their arrival are incredible."
The Knights now boast three recruits for the upcoming season. Deloziere joins Jaleesa Leslie and Anique Kattenberg as newcomers for the spring of 2021. The three additions bring the freshman class to a total of four. Nadja Bay Christians saw some time on the court during the spring of 2020, but was granted an extra season of eligibility, along with the rest of the NCAA, due to the shortening of the previous season due to COVID-19.
