The UCF football team (4-2, 3-2) is set to return to the Bounce House this weekend. The Knights will take on Temple (1-4, 1-4) Saturday at 7:30 p.m. with coverage on ESPNU and FM 96.9 The Game. The game is presented by Florida Cancer Specialists.

ABOUT THE OWLS
• Temple is in its second season under head coach Rod Carey, who as amassed a record of 9-9 with the Owls and holds a career mark of 61-39, having spent six years as the head coach at NIU.
• This season, Temple has started 1-4 with losses at Navy, Memphis, Tulane and at home to SMU, and a home win over South Florida.
• Anthony Russo has thrown for 868 yards and nine touchdowns with six interceptions at quarterback.
• Re'Mahn Davis is the Owls' leading rusher with 323 yards and one score on the ground.
• William Kwenkeu leads the defense with 37 tackles.

• The Knights appeared in their fourth consecutive bowl game in 2019, a first for the program. UCF played in the Cure Bowl in 2016, the Peach Bowl in 2017, the Fiesta Bowl in 2018 and the Gasparilla Bowl following the 2019 season.
• The 2019 Gasparilla Bowl marked UCF's seventh bowl appearance in the last eight seasons and the Knights' 11th in the past 15 years.

• While the air attack has been impressive, don't sleep on the Knights' ground game, which now ranks 16th in the nation after going for 353 yards on the ground at Houston.
• UCF is second in The American with its 234.8 yards of rushing per game.
• The win over Houston was the Knights' first game over 300 yards rushing since the Gasparilla Bowl win to end 2019.
• Both Otis Anderson (170) and Greg McCrae (107) went over 100 yards against the Cougars, the sixth time a UCF duo both went over 100 yards on the ground and the first since Kevin Smith and Jason Peters did it on Oct. 4, 2006.

• The Knights have forced 16 turnovers through six games, ranking second in the nation, and UCF is also ninth in the nation with a 1.50 turnover margin.
• UCF recovered only eight fumbles all of 2019 and has already recovered nine fumbles through six games of 2020, a mark that leads the nation.
• Senior Richie Grant has two fumble recoveries and three interceptions himself in 2020.
