ATLANTA – The ASUN Conference announced the Women's Soccer 2000-09 All-Decade Team with four former UCF standouts among the 28 student-athletes named to the list. During the decade, UCF accumulated the most ASUN Championship titles with three, and recorded an NCAA Tournament victory in 2004 by a score of 3-2 over Florida.
Michelle Anderson (1998-2001)
- The 2001 ASUN Player of the Year, Anderson was a member of three ASUN Championship teams at UCF (1998-99, 2001) while being named the Tournament MVP in 2001. She had a pair of First Team All-Conference honors (2000-01) and was named to the Second Team in 1999 to go along with three All-Tournament Team selections (1998-99, 2001).
Allison Blagriff (2001-04)
- The conference's leader in all-time games played with 88, Blagriff also ranks fourth in games started at 80 in ASUN history. One of only two players to be named Tournament MVP twice (2002-03), she helped lead UCF to three straight Regular Season and Championship titles from 2001-03. Blagriff was named to three All-Conference and All-Tournament Teams in her career.
Jennifer Montgomery (2002-04)
- A three-time All-Conference selection and Player of the Week recipient, Montgomery was named the 2002 ASUN Freshman of the Year. She ranks 14th all-time in ASUN history for career goals scored with 34. UCF captured the 2002 and 2003 ASUN Regular Season and Championship titles as Montgomery was named to the All-Tournament Team both years.
Jackie VanLooven (1999-2002)
- VanLooven earned three First Team All-Conference honors during the decade (2000-02) while also leading UCF to Regular Season and Championship titles in 1999, 2001 and 2002. During her career with the Knights, she played in 84 matches with 79 starts which rank sixth and ninth, respectively, in ASUN history.
To be named to the All-Decade Team an individual must have competed for at least two years in the decade as an ASUN student-athlete. Individuals that obtained one of the following criteria were named to the team: three First Team All-Conference selections, four All-Conference selections, multiple Scholar-Athlete/Player of the Year honors or ASUN Hall of Famer. Individuals that obtained at least two of the following criteria were also named to the team: Player/Freshman/Defensive Player/Goalkeeper of the Year, three All-Conference selections, two First Team All-Conference selections.
