UCF Athletics will transition to digital ticketing beginning with 2020 Knight fall seasons--as an added precaution and to limit person-to-person contact between staff and fans. Tickets will no longer be mailed, and print-at-home options will not be accessible. Football parking passes will be shipped via UPS in advance of the 2020 season.
The change is the latest for UCF Athletics as it continues to shape what game day experiences will look like this fall with added safety elements in mind in light of COVID-19 effects. Mobile entry will be used at all ticketed UCF sporting venues.
The mobile ticketing platform was designed in conjunction with Ticketmaster and enables fans to manage, view, scan, transfer and sell their tickets (season tickets or single-game purchases) via their personal devices. Fans are strongly encouraged to download and save their mobile tickets to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay account prior to game day. Tickets will be available for downloading later this summer.
This move will provide added benefits for fans in their utilization of tickets for UCF Athletics events. All tickets purchased eventually will be instantly accessible via UCF Account Manager or by text message. For fans unable to attend an event, tickets either can be digitally transferred to a friend or posted for resale directly to Ticketmaster.com.
Fans who do not have access to a smartphone or would prefer a physical ticket may still pick up generic ticket stock from the UCF Athletics Ticket Office prior to the start of the season.
Fans seeking to begin managing tickets eventually can download the UCF Athletics app (free to Apple or Android users) or visit www.UCFKnights.com/DigitalTix from their phone's web browser.
