ORLANDO, Fla. – Sophomore Alyssa Lamoureux leads the way for the Knights after two rounds at the UCF Challenge. As a team, the Knights are in ninth of 16 teams at Eagle Creek Golf Club.
Lamoureux improved on a first-round even par performance with a 2-under par second round on Monday to put her at 142 (-2) across the two days.
Elizabeth Moon also improved with her second day of the tournament, improving her first-round score by four strokes to earn even par on day two. On her first swing of the day, Moon picked up a hole-in-one to set the pace for the rest of her round.
After the second round at Eagle Creek Golf Club, freshman Tunrada Piddon and junior Ana Laura Collado each carry a two-round score of 146 (+2). Maria Balcazar also improved by one stroke on day two, picking up a 76 (+4).

Competing as individuals, Chinatsu Kobayashi and Dimana Viudes are currently sitting at 148 (+4) and 149 (+5) respectively. Viudes turned in one of the best performances from the Knights so far with a second-round score of 69 (-3).
Day two of the UCF Challenge saw a shuffle among the top teams as No. 39 Miami turned in three scorecards under par. No. 13 Michigan State slid to third place while No. 3 Kent State moved up to third position.
