Melbourne, Fla. – The UCF women's golf team competed in the two-day 54-hole Moon Golf Invitational, which saw the second round suspended due to darkness late Monday evening. At the time of suspension, the Knights were 11th out of a field of 16 with a total score of 299.
Alyssa Lamoureux, Tunrada Piddon, and Chinatsu Kobayashi finished both of their rounds on the first day of the tournament. Lamoureux leads the Knights with a two-round score of 143, highlighted by shooting a 68 (-4) in the second round and sits T11 in the field of 90 competitors. Piddon and Kobayashi follow with scores of 151 (+7) and 153 (+9) respectively.
Ana Laura Collado and Elizabeth Moon each had their second rounds suspended. Collado shot 73 (+1) in the first round and is currently three strokes over par through 15 holes. Moon is currently through 16 holes in her second round with a score of 65, which puts her two-over par.
Competing as an individual, Dimana Viudes also finished both of her rounds on Monday. In the first round, she finished sitting near the top of the leaderboard tied for second place with a score of 69. In her second round, she shot 75 (+3) for a two-round score of 144 (E).
