Fourteen members of the UCF football squad who will be in uniform today when the Knights meet Marshall in the Gasparilla Bowl at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, already have received their degrees.

--#79 OT Trevor Elbert – Graduated this month with degree in interdisciplinary studies, unsure of future plans
--#81 WR Alex Harris – Graduated this month in three and a half years with degree in integrated business, pursuing graduate school at UCF next semester with eligibility remaining
--#87 WR Jacob Harris—Graduated in summer 2019 with degree in interdisciplinary studies, pursuing master's degree in career and technical education
--#72 C Jordan Johnson– Graduated this month in three and a half years with degree in human communication
--#37 DB Joshua Kelly – Graduated this month with degree in human communication, pursuing second degree at UCF next semester with eligibility remaining
--#60 OL Josh McMullen – Graduated this month, pursuing second degree at UCF next semester with eligibility remaining
--#10 QB McKenzie Milton – Graduated in three and a half years with eligibility remaining, pursuing graduate school at UCF next semester
--#85 WR Devin Nixon—Graduated in fall 2018 from Western Kentucky and is now pursuing UCF graduate degree in interdisciplinary studies
--#16 WR Tre Nixon – Graduated this month with degree in interdisciplinary studies, pursuing second degree at UCF next semester with eligibility remaining
--#89 TE Anthony Roberson – Graduated this month in three and a half years with degree in human communication, considering graduate school options
--#53 LB Randy Shannon – Graduated in three and a half years, pursuing graduate school at UCF next semester with eligibility remaining
Members of the UCF football squad combined for a 2.93 grade-point average during the 2019 fall semester, helping the overall UCF student-athlete population to a 3.30 mark—the 24th consecutive semester Knight athletes have been over a 3.0 average.
Johnson, linebacker Eriq Gilyard, offensive tackle Sam Jackson and long snapper Alex Ward all were CoSIDA Academic All-America nominees for 2019—and Johnson was UCF's nominee for the National Football Foundation's William B. Campbell Trophy.
The UCF football squad in May received an NCAA Public Recognition Award after its 987 APR (Academic Progress Rate) score ranked among the top 10 percent of all Football Bowl Subdivision programs.
