ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Two members of the UCF women's tennis team will be competing in the Seminole All-Conference Showdown from Nov. 8-10 in Tallahassee, Fla. Playing in the tournament will be Valentina Martin and Domenika Turkovic.
Turkovic has played in numerous close matches where she was neck in neck with her opponent. She has been in multiple third set supertiebreakers this fall. She has tallied three wins so far this fall and will seek another against Kelly Keller of Arkansas on Friday at 11 a.m.
Martin looks forward to building on her three victories so far this fall. Her last win came against Reagan Posorkse from Boston College by a score of 6-1,6-2. Martin will face Iowa State's Ting-Pei Chang following the completion of Turkovic's match.
Turkovic and Martin will pair up in doubles as they'll face Middle Tennessee's Barnard and Burrows to begin their day at 9 a.m. on Friday.
