• On defense, Cooper Edmiston leads Tulsa with 77 tackles, while Reggie Robinson II has two picks.

ORLANDO'S HOMETOWN TEAM NOTE
winningest four-year run
• Prior to the start of the 2016 season, the UCF football program's best four-season run was from 2010 to 2013, when the Knights went 38-15, won two conference championships and earned a trio of bowl victories.
• During UCF's current four-year run starting with the 2016 season, the Knights are 38-10 and with a win over Tulsa on Friday would mark the winningest four-season stretch in program history.
• UCF has won two conference championships and appeared in three bowls with still at least four games remaining in the 2019 season.
• At 7-2, the Knights are bowl eligible for the fourth straight season, marking the first time in program history that UCF will appear in four straight bowl games.

UCFAST NOTE
benny hits the jets
• Bentavious Thompson has been the most recent UCF running back to break out and help lead the Knights to victories, scoring multiple touchdowns in back-to-back games.
• Thompson, who had 150 yards on just 29 attempts last season as a redshirt freshman, now leads UCF with seven rushing touchdowns in 2019. He has rushed for 467 yards on 58 carries, an average of 8.1 yards per carry.
• Over the last three games, the sophomore has rushed 27 times for 203 yards and scored five touchdowns in wins over ECU, Temple and Houston, as starting back Greg McCrae recovers from a knee injury.

UCFIERCE NOTE
second half suffocation
• The UCF defense has been down right dominant in the second half the last two games, allowing just six points and 81 total yards.
• In the win at Temple, the Knights shutout the Owls, allowing them to gain just 19 yards in the final two periods. In last week's win over Houston, the Knights allowed just 62 second-half yards and six points, after giving up a fumble on a punt return on 19-yard line.
