Hot Start for Women’s Golf at Mason Rudolph Championship

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women's golf team teed off the Mason Rudolph Championship on Thursday morning, shooting an even-par 288 in the first round.
The Knights are tied for third in a field that includes No. 7 Vanderbilt, No. 13 Auburn, and No. 15 Northwestern – sitting in first, tenth, and eleventh place respectively.

Elizabeth Moon is leading the way for the Black and Gold and tied for first place overall, shooting four under par for a 68. Tunrada Piddon is on her heels, shooting 70 (-2) which puts her tied for fourth in a field of 81 golfers.

Maria Balcazar wrapped up her first round in T32 position with a score of 74 (+2) while Chinatsu Kobayashi and Alyssa Lamoureux each tallied a 76 (+4)
