ABOUT THE PANTHERS
• Pittsburgh is in its fifth season under the leadership of head coach Pat Narduzzi, who now has an overall record of 29-26.

• The Panthers went 7-7 last season, with one loss coming to the Knights, but were 6-2 in ACC play, winning the Coastal Division before falling to Clemson in the ACC Championship Game.

• Pittsburgh has started 2019 with a 1-2 record, falling to Virginia in the season opener, before defeating Ohio and then losing to Penn State.

• Quarterback Kenny Pickett has thrown for 292.7 yards per game in the 2019 season.

• The Knights were ranked 17th in both the Preseason AP Top 25 Poll and the Preseason Amway Coaches Poll prior to the start of the 2019 season and are now up to 16th in the Coaches Poll
• It marked the highest UCF has been ranked before the season, the second time being ranked prior to the season and the second straight year earning a preseason ranking.
• As it stands, UCF has been ranked in the Top 25 for 31 straight weeks, dating back to week 6 of the 2017 season. The Knights have been in the rankings 44 times in total with the first being week 11 of the 2010 season. UCF's highest ranking was six, the final ranking of the 2017 season.

• The Knights have had success taking care of the ball so far in 2019, ranking third in the nation with just one turnover lost on the season, a fumble lost late in the game against Stanford.
• No UCF quarterbacks have thrown an interception yet this season, one of 26 teams yet to throw a pick in 2019.
• The passing offense has been efficient overall, as Gabriel, Brandon Wimbush and Quadry Jones have combined for a passing efficiency of 197.34, which ranks seventh in the nation.

• The UCF defense has been making it tough on offenses early on in 2019 with their ability to get pressure on the quarterback.
• The Knights lead the entire nation with 11.3 tackles for loss per game, recording 12 against Florida A&M, 16 against FAU and six against Stanford.
• Senior linebacker Nate Evans leads the way with four tackles for loss, while Eric Mitchell, Mason Cholewa and Brendon Hayes all have three so far in 2019.
