Dagenais Welcomes Stevens as Volunteer Coach

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – As the UCF volleyball team returns to campus to begin summer workouts, head coach Todd Dagenais announced that Cameron Stevens will join the staff as a volunteer assistant coach.

"I'm thrilled to welcome Cameron to our family," Dagenais said. "He has a deep experience working in the Orlando volleyball community. I cannot wait to have him working with our players to help our program take the next step."

No stranger to the Central Florida volleyball circuit, Stevens has coached both boys and girls at Timber Creek High School over the last seven years. He spent seven years as the head girls’ coach, reaching the regional playoffs six times. He led the Wolves to the regional finals in 2014 and regional semifinals in 2018. He captured district championships in 2014 and 2018, as well as a Metro Conference championship in 2018. He finished his time as the head girls’ coach with a record of 88-75.

In addition to working with UCF, Stevens continue to serve as the boys’ coach at Timber Creek. He will enter his eighth season. He won district titles in 2015 and 2016, with Metro Conference championships in 2014 and 2015. He has a record of 145-47 through seven seasons as the head coach.

Stevens coached boys club volleyball with Orlando Gold Volleyball Club from 2012-2016 and Ocean Bay Volleyball from 2016-2017.

When not coaching, Stevens is a Digital Video Technology Teacher at Timber Creek High School in Orlando, FL.

He graduated from the University of Findlay in May of 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in digital media. He was a four-time all-conference and honorable mention all-America placekicker on the football team while at Findlay.

He and his wife Ginny live in Oviedo with their son, Clayton, and two hound dogs, Bruce and Lucy.
