In its first two weekends of competitions, UCF has continued to show improvement. Nationally, eight Knights are ranked in the top 70 in five individual events, plus the 4x4’s performance at the Bob Pollock Invitational landed the squad among the top 70 as well.

The Knights are also moving up among the conference competitors. UCF has 15 members of its squad ranked among the top 10 in their respective events. In the 60-meter dash, UCF holds second (Nelda Huggins), fourth (Imani Clark) and sixth (Shian Hyde). The trio are joined by Ciara Holback in the top 10 of the 200-meter dash. Zharia Moore has the third-fastest time in the 60-meter hurdles and both the 4x4 and distance medley relay rank fifth among conference times.

In the field events, Daneesha Davidson ranks seventh in the triple jump. A pair of Knights, Shanell Atkins and Jhane’ Carter, hold top 10 marks in the shot put. Carter is joined by Gabby Durant in the top 10 of the weight throw.
