General

  • UCF captains: Senior Tight End Michael Colubiale, Senior Offensive Lineman Tyler Hudanick, Senior Linebacker Pat Jasinski, Senior Safety Kyle Gibson, Junior Wide Receiver Jacob Harris
  • Coin Toss: UCF won the toss and elected to defer to the second half; Memphis chose to receive and defend the north end zone.

 

Team

  • UCF extended its win streak to 25 games, which leads the nation, and is a program and American Athletic Conference record
  • It is tied for 25th longest win streak in FBS history and is the fourth longest since 2000
  • The Knights also extended their program record home winning streak to 15 games
  • UCF now has a streak of 25 games of scoring 30 points or more, which is the longest streak by any team in the AP Poll era (81 years)
  • UCF now leads the series over Memphis 13-1
  • UCF now has 12 wins in a single season for the third time ever and the third time in the last seven seasons
  • It marks the Knights’ second ever undefeated season and their second in a row
  • The Knights have now won six conference championships

 

Offense

  • Greg McCrae scored his ninth rushing touchdown of the season, the sixth straight game he’s found the end zone
  • Michael Colubiale’s fumble recovery in the end zone was UCF’s first touchdown on an offensive fumble recovery this season
  • Jake Hescock caught the first touchdown of his career on just his second career catch
  • Darriel Mack Jr. threw his first career touchdown in his second career start
  • McCrae rushed for 100 yards for the fourth time in the last five games
  • McCrae’s 206 rushing yards put him over 1,000 for the season
  • With 1,101 rushing yards on the season, McCrae’s ranks as the seventh best single-season rushing mark in UCF history
  • It also marked the first 200-yard rushing game since Latavius Murray in 2011
  • Mack threw his second touchdown of the game to Otis Anderson, marking Anderson’s seventh total touchdown of the season
  • Mack also ran for four touchdowns in the game, tying the program record
  • Gabriel Davis totaled 101 receiving yards, his third 100-yard game of the season

 

Defense

  • With a lead of 17 points three times, it marked the largest deficit UCF has faced this season, passing Memphis’s 16-point lead over the Knights on Oct. 13
  • Overcoming the 17-point deficit marks the third largest comeback in program history
  • Memphis’s 38 first half points were the most given up by UCF in a half this season and two off of the most points scored against the Knights in a game this season
  • The Tigers’ 41 points were the most UCF has given up this season
  • UCF still hasn’t allowed more than seven points in the third quarter this season, allowing just three to Memphis
  • The Knights have now forced at least one turnover in all 11 games this season and the last 30 games, dating back to 2016, a streak that leads the nation

 

Special Teams

  • Matthew Wright connected on all seven of his extra points, extending his program record to 152 consecutive extra points made
