ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women’s tennis team is set for a split weekend at two different tournaments. The majority of the Knights will head to the LSU Tiger Fall Classic, while a pair will travel to Tallahassee for the Seminole All-Conference Showdown.
In Baton Rouge, La., UCF will go up against a field featuring Boston College, Northwestern, SMU and host LSU. The Knights will open play on Friday as a tandem team with SMU against Northwestern for doubles, before facing Boston College in singles play. Saturday will see the Knights/Mustangs squad battle LSU and Boston College in a pair of doubles contests and Northwestern in singles. The even wraps up on Sunday with a singles contest against the host Tigers.
At the Seminole All-Conference Showdown, Sara Culbertson and Valentina Martin will represent the Black and Gold. Culbertson will square off with Christina Jordan from West Virginia in the singles Flight A. Martin will meet Ebru Yazgan from Southern Miss. The duo will team up for the doubles Flight A against Anna Makarova and Lexi Keberle from Wisconsin.
