- Adrian Killins Jr. scored his fourth rushing touchdown of the season and the 18th of his career
- McKenzie Milton’s touchdown pass to Dredrick Snelson in the first quarter extended his streak to 19 straight games with a passing touchdown, which is the third longest in program history
- It marked Snelson’s second touchdown this season and the 12th of his career
- UCF scored 21 points in the first quarter, the most the Knights have scored in a first quarter all season
- SMU had only given up 17 total points in the first quarter in their first five games of 2018
- Killins finished with 113 yards rushing, the most rushing yards in a game this season by a Knight and the first 100-yard rushing game for a UCF player since McKenzie Milton in the 2018 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl
- Killins now has four 100-yard rushing games in his career, two of which have come against SMU
- With 17 rushing yards in the game, Milton passed Jeff Godfrey (971) for the second most rushing yards in a career by a quarterback with 986
