"I am so proud of our team's fight this week. They never gave up and battled hard until the very end," said head coach Emily Marron. "It was back and forth all day with Campbell and Sac State and some birdies down the stretch really pulled us through.”

Elizabeth Moon brings some hardware back to Orlando with the best overall finish. The freshman shot a tournament-low 65 on Sunday including a string of birdies on the back nine to wrap up the Princess Anne Invitational with a 203(-7) for her first collegiate win in her young career. Moon also broke the record for lowest 54-hole total in program history, which was previously held by Kristine Odaiyar (208) set back in 2014.

“Elizabeth performed with such poise and confidence all weekend,” added Marron. “Her final round was unbelievable! She hit so many great shots and stayed composed. I am so happy for her and so proud of her victory.”
