TAMPA, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The UCF track and field team completed action at the NCAA East Region Preliminary on Saturday at the USF Track and Field Complex.
Jhane' Carter and Gabby Durant finished 43rd and 44th, respectively, in the hammer throw. Carter threw a distance of 176-3/53.72m, while Durant's best toss landed at 171-3/52.21m.
Durant, who set the UCF hammer throw record during the 2018 season, and Carter, who holds the UCF shot put record, can return in the fall with a chance to improve their marks during the 2019 campaign.
