Ready to Roll

ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) -- The UCF football team held one of its final practices before the annual Spring Game Wednesday afternoon. The Knights will likely hold more of a walk-through session Friday in advance of the Spring Game presented by DEX Imaging, which kicks off at 6 p.m. Saturday inside Spectrum Stadium.

According to safety Tre Neal, the squad has been putting in the work to get better throughout the spring.

"Overall, these guys, they've been working really hard," Neal said, addressing the media after Wednesday's workout. "These last couple weeks have been good. They've been working really hard, getting in shape, getting their bodies right. I think we've been doing a great job, especially over these last few weeks."

Now that practices are almost over, the Knights can look ahead to Saturday and the anticipation of being back in the Bouncehouse in front of their fans.

"I'm super excited," linebacker Titus Davis said. "The fans had a great turnout last year and were ... a big part of our season ... just them supporting us and having our back. I'm grateful to see them again."

Never one to shy away from expectations, running back Adrian Killins Jr. said the fans can expect a show on Saturday.

"We're just looking forward to having fun," Killins said. "Looking forward to a huge crowd as much as possible, knowing the season we just had. I'm pretty sure the fans are looking forward to seeing what Coach Heupel and his staff has instilled in us this spring. So, I know it will be a lof of energy from the players. We'll be in the Bouncehouse once again. The last time we were in the Bouncehouse, everyone witnessed a lot of magic happen. I'm just looking forward to a great game. It wil be fast and physical on both sides of the ball."
