GAINESVILLE, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) –  The UCF track and field team concluded its strong performance at the Pepsi Florida Relays on Saturday.
 
UCF's 4x800 squad competed for the first time this outdoor campaign and turned in an 8:49.87 time. The quartet of Rosie Chamberlain, Marissa Codispodi, Crystal Tejeda and Beth Williams finished fourth in the event.
 
Natosha Jordan continued her strong sophomore campaign, clearing 5-7/1.70m to finish fifth in the high jump.
 
In the shot put, Shanell Atkins collected a seventh place finish with a distance of 47-11.75/14.62m. Courtney Morgan finished 18th with a throw of 44-9.75/13.66m. In the shot put invite, Jhane' Carter took 13th with a throw of 46-1.25/14.05m.
 
The UCF 4x100 relay squad of Sarah Wollaston, Alissa Williams, Shaniya Williams and Loren Gallmon finished 14th overall with a time of 45.39.
 
The Knights return to Gainesville on April 13 for the Tom Jones Memorial.
