ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF track and field team continues outdoor action this week, heading to Tampa for the Bulls Invitational.
 
The two-day meet will take place at the USF Track Complex.

A trio of Knights will begin competition on Thursday. Natosha Jordan will begin heptathlon action at 3 p.m. with the 100-meter hurdles. She will also compete in the high jump, shot put and 200-meter dash on Thursday.
 
Jhane' Carter and Gabby Durant will represent the Black and Gold in the hammer throw at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
 
Friday's running events will begin at 10 a.m., and will be on a rolling schedule. Jordan will conclude heptathlon action with the long jump, javelin and 800-meter run.
 
UCF's field events begin with triple jump at 11:30 a.m. The Knights have competitors in the shot put at noon, high jump at 12:30 p.m., pole vault at 1:30 p.m. and discus at 2:30 p.m.
 
The Knights opened their outdoor season on March 16 at the Black and Gold Challenge. A pair of Knights – Natosha Jordan and Rosie Chamberlain – picked up wins in the high jump and 800-meter run, respectively, while UCF collected 25 top 10 finishes on the opening weekend.
