ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF men's tennis team took down Indiana 4-0 Friday night at the USTA National Campus, completing the Big 10 sweep on the week for the Black and Gold.

"There was a lot going on in this match, and our guys handled things really well," said UCF Director of Tennis, John Roddick. "We did a really good job [after] even losing some first sets, coming back and winning the second sets and then when we had chances tonight, we closed them out."

The Knights (6-6, 0-0) made easy work of the visiting Hoosiers (8-8, 1-1), handing Indiana its third straight loss.

UCF's doubles play continues to thrive. After dropping No. 2 doubles, the Black and Gold were able to fight through the final two matches to earn the opening match point.

Gabriel DeCamps and Danny Kerznerman defeated Keivon Tabrizi and Payam Ahmadi, 6-3 at No. 3 to leave it all up to court No. 1.

Oracle/ITA Division I No. 11 ranked doubles pair, Korey Lovett and Eero Vasa continue to excel for the Knights at No.1. The duo finished off Antonio Cembellin and Afonso Salgado, 7-6 (7-4) to open the scoring for UCF.

That momentum carried into singles play for the Knights.

Lovett would earn his second win of the night, also playing at No. 1 singles. The senior dominated No. 122, Raheel Manji 6-2, 6-4 to earn the second point of the night for UCF.

Playing at No. 6, Kerznerman was also stellar. The Brooklyn, N.Y. native cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 win over Brandon Lam to put the Knights on the brink of their second straight win.

The clincher came at No. 4, when Mikhail Sokolovskiy grinded out a 7-6 (7-5), 2-6, 6-1 victory over Zac Brodney to seal the deal.
