ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – With the 2017 NFL season in full swing and bye weeks upon us, nine former Knights saw action in Week 8, highlighted by Leger Douzable and his first career two-sack performance.

Having been one of the San Francisco 49ers' final cuts of training camp this summer, Douzable made his way back with the team just two weeks ago.  In his second game of the season, he had one of the best of his career.

Douzable made five tackles and had two sacks. In just two games, he is already tied for second on the team in sacks in 2017.

Back to his old tricks, Matt Prater continued to excel in the kicking game for the Detroit Lions this week. In fact, Prater tied his career high with five field goals against the Steelers, going a perfect 5-for-5 with a long of 51 yards.
