ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) -- The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced recently, with two Knights on the list. Seniors Johanna Larsson and Ayaka Nakayama were both named WGCA All-American Scholars.
A total of 952 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 to be recognized.
Larsson and Nakayama were integral parts of a 2016-17 UCF women's golf team that won the American Athletic Conference championship.
