SACRAMENTO, Calif. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF rowing team closed out Lake Natoma Invite action on Sunday.
Racing on Lake Natoma for the third time in two days, the Knights lined up with Gonzaga and Notre Dame during Sunday's races.
The Varsity Four opened the day for UCF. The squad, consisting of Kristen Taylor, Rachael Klunder, Darby Brooks, Grace Lindberg and Paula Parks, finished third in its heat with a time of 7:27.58.
The Second Varsity Eight, consisting of Catherine Harms, Anna Mahoney, Claudia Destefani, Aly Derksen, Ivana Krkljus, Leslie Lajoie, Rachel Rabinowitz, Danielle Taylor and Jasmine Blais, posted a third place finish in its heat with a time of 6:50.50.
Rounding out the weekend, the Varsity Eight posted a third place finish in its heat. The squad, consisting of Olivia Hecimovich, Julie Poulsen, Lauren Aiello, Ashleigh Boyd, Marija Medelinskaite, Viktorija Senkute, Mia Cleary, Edvina Nesukaityte and Zana Krakic, crossed the line in 6:43.56.
The Knights return to action on April 22, heading to South Carolina for the two-day Clemson Invitational.
