ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF is set to host UConn in its final American Athletic Conference home series, starting on Friday at 5:30 p.m. The Knights continue their series against the Huskies at 2 p.m. Saturday.
 
Following the final home game of the season on Sunday at noon, seniors Manami Calixto, Linnea Goodman, Willow Kalinen and Brittany Solis will be recognized for their contributions to the program. A special set of senior trading cards are available to fans, who can also play softball bingo.

The Knights hold their annual Friends of Jaclyn Day to start the three-game set on Friday. Parents Day is set for Saturday, which includes $1 hot dogs at the concession stand.
 
UCF
After its conference bye weekend, UCF holds 23-20 overall mark and begins its stretch run in The American. The Knights are third in the standings and hold a 7-5 league record with series against UConn and first-place Tulsa remaining before The American Championship in Greenville, N.C.
 
Linnea Goodman leads the Knights' offense with a .379 batting average and 10 doubles. The top run producers for UCF are sophomore Cassady Brewer (21), junior Courtney Rotton (20) and Goodman (18).
 
In league games, freshman Kyra Klarkowski has been clutch, driving in nine runs and posting a .469 batting average.
 
The Knights have averaged 1.81 stolen bases per game. Junior Megan Greenwell paces the squad with a career-high 25 stolen bases.
 
The workhorse in the circle for UCF is freshman Alea White, notching 78 strikeouts over 167.0 innings. The Land O'Lakes, Fla., native has tallied 16 victories, which is tied for fifth most by a freshman in the country.
 
Freshmen Kamryn Toney (4-4) and Damara Begin (1-1) along with Manami Calixto (2-3) have all logged key innings for the Knights.
 
UConn
UConn holds a 15-26 overall and 1-10 conference record. The Huskies split a two-game set with South Florida and have come up short against Houston, East Carolina and Tulsa.
 
The UConn offense is paced by Carli Cutler with a .325 average and 10 doubles. A team-best 17 RBI and four homers have been blasted by Valerie Sadowl. Devon Casazza has also connected on four round trippers.
 
A team-best six wins each have been notched by Katie Koshes and Jill Stokley. Koches has tallied 106 strikeouts over 85.0 innings, while Stockey has fanned 60 in 93.2 frames of work. Chelsea Eckert, Carli Cutler and Kayla Doty have all seen time in the circle.
 
Series History
The Knights hold a 12-1 all-time mark against UConn, including nine-straight victories since joining The American in 2014. UCF has swept two series and took a one-game weather-shortened three-game set in 2016. During that win streak, four contests have been decided by one run.
 
Next Up
UCF travels to Bethune-Cookman for a Wednesday meeting in Daytona Beach, Fla. The first pitch of a doubleheader is set for 2 p.m.
