ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF resumes its homestand by taking on No. 13 James Madison at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Fans coming out to the UCF Softball Complex can enjoy $1 hot dogs and could be one of 50 lucky winners to take home a February Knightro Bobblehead.

The Knights (10-6) are riding a four-game win streak and opened a 19-game homestand with victories over Florida Gulf Coast and Providence (2) at the UCF Invitational.
 
UCF faces its fourth ranked opponent of the season in James Madison, while searching for its first victory against such a foe.
 
Freshman Alea White was stellar for the Knights last week, notching the victory in each of the four games. The Land O'Lakes, Fla., native tossed two complete games and did not allow an earned run, while striking out 15 opponents in 19.0 innings of work.
 
The Knights are led at the plate by junior Courtney Rotton, who has posted a .388 batting average with two homers and 10 RBI. After a 9-for-13 week, senior Linnea Goodman has bumped her batting average up to .383 and is currently second on the squad with nine RBI.
 
A total of 19 bases were swiped by the Knights in the four games last week. UCF is currently ranked 32nd nationally with 1.88 stolen bases per game. Junior centerfielder Megan Greenwell paces the team by going 8-for-8 in stolen bases.
 
James Madison
James Madison is currently ranked No. 13 in the USA Today/NFCA Poll and No. 14 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Poll. The Dukes are 16-3 on the season with notable wins over Missouri, USC Upstate, Oklahoma State, South Florida, Wisconsin, Auburn and Kansas.
 
In the circle, JMU has relied upon Megan Good, who has posted an 11-0 mark and 103 strikeouts in 72 innings of work. She has compiled a 0.19 ERA to lead the NCAA.
 
The offensive attack has been led by Niki Prince with a .386 batting average and 14 RBI. Seven Dukes enter the contest batting over .300 on the season.
 
Series History
This is the fourth-consecutive season that James Madison and UCF face off on the softball diamond. The Knights posted a 3-2 victory back on Feb. 14, 2014 in the first meeting between the two programs. The Dukes have taken the past two matchups by one run.
 
Next Up
The Knights continue their homestand with the UCF Wilson/DeMarini Tournament on Friday at 5 p.m. against Ohio State and Delaware State. The three-day event also features No. 16 Georgia and Mercer.
