AAC Release Howell AAC Pitcher of the Week

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF Baseball team is headed to Daytona Tuesday, for a midweek game against Bethune-Cookman at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. The Knights took two of three games against Jacksonville over the weekend and are now 1-2 on the road this season.

UCF leads the all-time series 78-17 and is 17-4 under first year head coach Greg Lovelady. Bethune-Cookman is 14-6 and currently on a six-game winning streak.

Redshirt sophomore Chris Williams is scheduled to start for the Knights. Williams is 0-2 with a 4.91 ERA, but held his own in starts against top-ranked Florida and Florida State. He has thrown a total of 18.1 innings, struck out 16 and walked just six.

  • The Black and Gold have stolen 43-46 bases; Luke Hamblin, Matthew Mika, and Eli Putnam each have 9
