ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women's basketball team returns to CFE Arena for the final two games of the regular season, starting with Saturday's contest against SMU.
 
The Knights and the Mustangs are set for a 2 p.m. tip. Prior to the game, the Fifth Annual Touch-A-Truck will take place on Knights Plaza from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Please note: Due to Touch-A-Truck, East Plaza Drive will be closed until 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
 
UCF (18-9, 8-6 The American) is currently fourth in the league standings heading into the final stretch of games.
 
Junior Aliyah Gregory was named The American Player of the Week on Feb. 21 after another impressive week. She paces the team and ranks second in the league with 20.6 points per contest in conference play and has scored 20 or more points in seven of the last nine games.
 
The Knights have committed to lock-down defense this season. UCF is holding opponents to just 55.9 points per game, which ranks 22nd in the nation. The Black and Gold continue to lead the league and rank 17th in the country with an average of 11.2 steals per contest.
 
Senior Zykira Lewis has stepped up on defense and has the fourth-most steals in a single season at UCF. The Bartow, Fla., native ranks 11th nationally with 84 steals during the 2016-17 campaign.
 
Lewis, who became the second Knight in program history to reach 1,700 career points, averages 14.3 points per game in conference action. She has 59 three-pointers on the season, which marks her third-straight season ranking in the top 10 at UCF for single season three-pointers.
 
SMU enters the weekend with a 15-12 overall record. At 6-8 league play, the Mustangs are tied for seventh in The American standings. SMU has won four of its last six conference games, including a pair of 21-point victories in its last two outings.
 
Alicia Froling averages a double-double, scoring 14 points per game while grabbing 10.3 rebounds per contest. McKenzie Adams averages 12.1 points per contest. The Mustangs lead the conference with 161 blocks and rank eighth in the NCAA with an average of six blocks per game.
 
SMU leads the all-time series, 13-6, and has won back-to-back games over the Knights. The Mustangs earned a 63-58 win over UCF on Feb. 4.
 
Next up, UCF hosts No. 23 Temple in the regular season finale on Feb. 27. Seniors Zykira Lewis and Joslyn Massey will be recognized following the game.
