NASHVILLE, Tenn. (UCFKnights.com) – Another record fell for the UCF women's track and field team on Saturday. Junior Rosie Chamberlain notched at new mark in the 800-meter run at the Music City Challenge.
Chamberlain, who previously held the school mark in the event, finished seventh overall, but her time of 2:05.77 lowered her previous best.
Senior J'Nea Bellamy won the 60-meter dash with her fastest time of the season, 7.34. Sophomore Alissa Williams joined Bellamy in the top 10, as her personal best mark of 7.53 gave her seventh overall.
Redshirt senior Anne-Marie Blaney finished fifth in the mile run, with a mark of 4:45.51.
The Knights close out the indoor season at the American Athletic Conference Championships. The two-day meet will start Feb. 24 in Birmingham, Ala.
