ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Four former Knights participated in the 2017 FBS All-Americans Tropical Bowl Sunday in Daytona Beach, highlighted by linebacker Errol Clarke's MVP performance in front of 70 NFL and CFL scouts.

Defensive back D.J. Killings, defensive back Jeremy Boykins and long snapper Gage Marsil joined Clarke at Daytona's Municipal Stadium over the weekend.

Clarke was honored after finishing the day with three tackles, one tackle for loss, a sack and an interception.  He was named the National Team Defensive MVP for his performance.  Clarke returned his interception 61 yards, finishing with the second most all-purpose yards of any player on the day.

Clarke concluded his final season in Orlando with a total of 58 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss, 6.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.

UCF continues its senior all-star game participation on Jan. 21 when defensive back Shaquill Griffin competes in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. It is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.
