ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – Four former Knights will be taking part in the FBS All-Americans Tropical Bowl Sunday in Daytona Beach. Defensive back Jeremy Boykins, linebacker Errol Clarke, defensive back D.J. Killings and long snapper Gage Marsil will all do their best to impress professional football scouts in attendance.
The Tropical Bowl kicks off at 9 a.m. Sunday morning at Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium. Tickets are available for $20 at the gate on the day of the game.
Sunday's Tropical Bowl is the cap to three days of activity for players taking part. Players reported early Friday morning, with practices set for Friday and Saturday afternoon. Tropical Bowl organizers have also set aside time for players and scouts to hold individual meetings on Friday and Saturday.
Five Knights are now taking part in all-star games to display their talents this winter. Shaquill Griffin will take part in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, which is set for 1 p.m. on Jan. 21 at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.
