ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women's basketball team hits the road to open the month of December. The Knights are at Buffalo on Thursday, facing the Bulls in a 7 p.m. matchup on the hardwood.
 
The contest is set to broadcast on ESPN3, with an audio-only broadcast on UCFKnights.tv.
 
UCF (6-1) enters the game on a three-game win streak. The Knights are 3-0 on the road this season. 

Zykira Lewis leads the Black and Gold, averaging 14.7 points per game and is shooting 44.7 percent from the floor. The Bartow, Fla., native leads the team with 25 steals this season, which is ranked fourth in the nation. Junior Fifi Ndour averages 10.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per contest. Redshirt senior Joslyn Massey has collected 33 of her 57 rebounds on the offensive end this season. She ranks 17th in the country in offensive rebounds per game. Junior Aliyah Gregory ranks 43rd in the country with 16 steals this season.
 
UCF moved all the way up to third in the nation in steals, with 95 so far this season, with the No. 6 scoring defense. The Knights also rank 12th in the country in rebounds (303) and 13th in rebounding margin (+13.7).
 
Buffalo brings an unblemished 5-0 record into Thursday's contest. The Bulls are 4-0 in Alumni Center, and have played on the road once, winning at Duquesne.

A pair of Bulls, JoAnna Smith and Cassie Oursler, average double figures. Smith averages 11.6 points per game, while Oursler averages 10.8 points per contest.  Summer Hemphill leads Buffalo with 7.0 rebounds per game, and Stephanie Reid averages 5.4 assists per contest.
 
The teams are set to meet for the third time in program history, with the all-time series tied 1-1. Buffalo holds the most recent victory, a 66-60 win in CFE Arena at the 2015 UCF Thanksgiving Classic.
 
UCF returns to CFE Arena on Sunday, hosting Bethune-Cookman in a 2 p.m. matchup. A domestic violence awareness toy drive, benefitting The Spring of Tampa, will be held prior to the game. Fans that bring a toy will receive a Knightro bobblehead. The first 400 fans will receive an ugly sweater t-shirt.
